First created for Vivienne’s Spring/Summer 1985 show ‘Mini-Crin’, these now iconic shoes were created in order to achieve poise and elevation as well as movement. She thought the mini-crin to be similar to a ballerina’s Tutu and wanted the footwear to reflect and enhance the moving and swaying of the skirt.
